Our Mission

Our mission is to transform lives by providing education, healthcare, housing, and welfare support to disadvantaged individuals and families. We are especially committed to supporting orphans, widows, persons living with disabilities, and those facing extenuating circumstances of hardship, ensuring no one is left behind because of poverty or vulnerability.

Who We Are

The Anthony Udokwu's Foundation Yahweh was founded and is personally funded by Anthony Ugochukwu Udokwu, PhD. The foundation does not raise money from the public; instead, all charitable work is made possible through a portion of the founder’s own income.

We work through trusted trustees in Nigeria, who ensure that grants are applied effectively and transparently to deliver scholarships, medical aid, food support, and housing assistance directly to those who need it most.

Our Values

Compassion – putting the needs of vulnerable people at the heart of everything we do.

Integrity – applying every grant solely for charitable purposes, with strict oversight.

Accountability – trustees and leadership ensuring transparency in all operations.

Dignity – respecting and protecting the confidentiality and privacy of all beneficiaries.

Commitment – sustaining our work through careful stewardship of the founder’s personal resources.

What We Do

🎓 Scholarships & Education Support

We provide supplementary and university-level scholarships to children and young adults facing financial hardship, including orphans and persons with disabilities. This includes our 2026 University Scholarship, CEO Compassionate Scholarship, and Supplementary University Scholarship, as well as our Inaugural University Monthly Stipend Award (2026).
Funds are released to trustees in Nigeria only after a thorough needs assessment, ensuring that support is applied directly to educational costs—such as tuition, books, or school supplies—when it is most critical to a student’s success.

🌍 Internship & Leadership Development

Through our International Internship Programme (2026), we offer six-month remote internships for Nigerian students and recent graduates, including orphans and persons with disabilities. The programme provides professional development, mentorship, and leadership experience within the Foundation’s scholarship and empowerment operations.

🐓 Empowerment & Skills Development

Our empowerment initiatives promote financial independence through training and small-scale enterprise support.

The Data Reselling Empowerment Programme trains young people, widows, and persons with disabilities in mobile data reselling, airtime sales, and POS money transfers, including limited start-up funding and trustee supervision.

The Poultry Empowerment Programme provides practical training, chicks, feed, and start-up materials to help participants establish small poultry businesses.

💨 Healthcare Support

We support individuals with respiratory conditions through our Asthma Support / Inhaler Distribution Project, which provides essential inhalers to children and adults in need. Trustees coordinate local distribution to ensure aid is given only after verified medical and financial need.

🍞 Welfare & Food Aid

We release funds for food and essential materials during periods of community crisis. Working with local priests, church leaders, and trustees in Nigeria, we ensure that this assistance is provided only after careful needs assessment and is directed to the most vulnerable students, orphans, and widows.

🏠 Housing Initiatives

We assist scholarship recipients who face accommodation challenges by facilitating full or partial payments of hostel fees. Trustees release funds only when verified documentation confirms genuine need and when housing support is essential to ensuring safety and stability.

How We Deliver Our Services:

All our charitable activities are personally funded by the founder and managed through our trustees in Nigeria. Trustees supervise every stage of grant usage, from needs assessment to implementation, ensuring funds are applied responsibly, efficiently, and only when support is critical and aligns with the foundation’s objectives.

Our Promise

We promise to serve with integrity, compassion, and transparency. Our trustees in Nigeria are bound to uphold the highest standards in protecting confidential information, safeguarding beneficiaries, and applying resources solely for charitable purposes.

The founder personally oversees the financial management of the foundation, ensuring that every grant is disbursed responsibly and in line with our charitable objectives.

Through this commitment, we guarantee that the Anthony Udokwu Foundation Yahweh will always act in the best interests of those we serve.
